One Fine Day - Eggless Dairyless Cake Take One


This is my take of Eggless & Dairyless Cake that go viral on the internet. Actually my mom has the better recipe of this cake, and it taste so much better than this one that I found on the internet. Because I don't know why, we can still taste the flour here. You can also changes the flour to almond meals which I believe will taste so much better.

And I will make a post about my mom's nondairy & eggless cake version of this cake soon.

Ristra Balanced Foundation Review

In case you forgot, this is still a beauty blog. It took me quite awhile, and I can't remember what and when the last time I'm doing a review. But here we go. Since this one is an Indonesian beauty brand, so I think I will talk in Indonesian in this post.

So, a month ago, while searching for the cheap alternative of good quality sunscreen that I can use daily without makes me bankrupt xD, the B.A of Ristra introduced me to this foundation. I was actually looking for a new foundation, to bronze up my face, so I was like why not give it a try, right?


Ristra itu adalah brand kosmetik di Indonesia yang memproduksi produk makeup dan produk-produk skincare. Foundation-nya ini bernama Balanced Foundation, dimana udah diuji secara cosmeto-dermatologi, yang kata-nya cocok untuk kita yang punya masalah dengan jerawat.

Dari segi packaging, foundation ini datang dengan pump yang bisa kita putar, jadi lebih hygenis dan botol-nya juga kuat dan transparan jadi kita bisa tahu dengan jelas warna yang terdapat didalamnya

Dari segi texture, foundation ristra ini lebih ke light liquid yang kalau di blend hasil akhirnya adalah matte dan powdery. Dan untuk coverage, bisa dibilang dari light ke medium, jadi gak bisa terlalu ngecover freckles yang terlalu kuat pigmentasi-nya.


Dari ketahanannya dan pengalamanku, pada saat cuaca panas dan humid, staying foundation ini hanya bisa sampai 2 jam, setelah itu kita perlu retouch atau blotting lagi. Dan foundation ini agak memiliki dry feeling setelah pengaplikasikannya karena jatuhnya ke matte, buat yang punya kulit muka yang kering, sebaiknya gunain moisturizer terlebih dahulu atau primer.


Dari segi warna/shade, sayang-nya mereka hanya punya 3 shade. Dimana shade yang aku punya kali ini adalah shade kedua, bernama sand beige yang gak begitu match atau cocok dengan warna kulit aku. Tapi pada awal-nya aku memang beli ini untuk bronze up muka aku, namun sayangnya warna sand beige ini terlalu jatuh ke orange gitu, jadi ketika dipakai agak aneh dan jadi kelihatan gak natural walau udah diblend, jadi aku biasanya mix foundation ini dengan foundation yang biasa aku pakai sampai dapat warna yang pas (1-2 tone darker) buat muka aku. Seperti yang bisa dilihat pada gambar dibawah, eventhough the picture below don't really do the justice, tapi bisa di lihat betapa orange dan gak matching dengan warna kulit aku.

One Fine Day - Angel Hair Cream Pasta with Blueberry Caramelized Sausages


SAY WHAT?? Another cheating day. Let set aside workout and other stuff for today and let just enjoy this very right moment, right here, right now. I actually can't believe myself that I could created this kind of flavor. Even my mom who's not a fan for this kind of food liked it, mom approved. Whoop whoop!


Pasta Cream Sauce Recipe

Disclaimer : I totally made up this recipe randomly and with no exact measurement, because that how I cook and I'm not a professional training chef or something, I'm just a girl who enjoys cooking and of course eating good food

# Ingredients:
2 tbsp minced garlic
6 tbsp minced onion
Olive oil (or any cooking oil will do)
1/2 cup ground beef
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Oregano
Dried Basil
Lemon juices
1/2 cup beef stock
1 cup milk
1 cup melting cheese

# Directions:
Pour the olive oil over the medium heated pan until the oil turn hot, add minced garlic & onion, cook it until about 3-4 minutes or until it turn out slightly brownish, add ground beef, beef stock, milk, lemon juice, salt, pepper, sugar, oregano, dried basil over, and stir it slowly in low high until they simmer then add the melting cheese, stir it slowly again. And that's really it. Not helping much right? I know xD xD

One Fine Day - Tomato Carrot Poached Eggs


Hello there everyone!
Few days ago I was super random, and made this for my lunch/dinner. Inspired by Tuscany cuisine (Italy). And here I made well-cooked poached eggs since my family like it that way better

Ingredients:
1 carrot, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
1 cup of passata
2 eggs
Salt & Pepper
Oregano
Dried Basil
Paprika powder
2 tbsp of sugar (I need sugar because my passata way too sour for my liking)
1 tbsp minced garlic
Olive oil

Directions:
Put the oil in a pan over medium-high heat and heat until the oil is hot
Add diced carrots
1 minute later, add  diced tomatoes and passata
Add salt, pepper, oregano, dried basil, paprika powder, minced garlic, and sugar as your liking, combine it
Make 2 holes from on them, and crack the eggs on both of the holes
Put the lid on, and let it cook as your liking. Whether you like your poached eggs to be half cooked or well cooked
Serve it with plain bread or if you are asian, you can serve it alongside with rice

One Fine Day - Macaroni Casserole


When pasta meet meat, cheese, and other yummy goodies, who can't resist it? Few months ago, I managed to made Macaroni Casserole. Its quite similar with Baked Mac & Cheese, but here we used some italian herbs and stuff that make this dude here smells awesome and of course taste so damn good. Surprise surprise, actually it was my first time made this, and it turned out well, and everyone in my family love it, especially my brother. Geez, I'm kind of craving for this dude again now. One Fine Day - Biscotto Bianco e Nero (Black & White Cookies)


Good day guys! It's been a long time since my last post. And today I made some italian cookies, it's a chocolate cookies covered with sugar. Dayum

Hence, I will share the recipe with you guys here, it's super easy and fun to make. And of course, everything taste better with chocolate right? Recipe adapted from http://www.italianfoodforever.com/

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup dark chocolate bar
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup almond meals
1 cup granulated sugar for coating
1 cup powdered sugar for coating

Directions:
1# Melts the chocolate bar with unsalted butter and cocoa powder together. You can use microwave or use double boiler method 
2# Add sugar and eggs in separate bowl, mix it together in low speed until both of them combine well 
3# Pour the melted chocolate over the sugar and eggs mix, combine well 
4# Add flour and almond meals to the mix, lightly stir it, until it well combine 
#5 Make little balls from the dough, roll each balls with granulated sugar first, then roll it again with powdered sugar 
#6 Place it on baking tray, bake until it well cooked or around 30 minutes and so with 300 F temperature

Voila! I think I will make another batch of this cookies again soon. Until then, have a great days ahead guys!

One Fine Day - Penne with Apple Parsley Cream Sauce


I'm such a foodie. OMG! Haha, now my blog seriously full with food pictures. No kidding eh? Haha. Anyway, since I still had some penne pasta leftovers yesterday, so I decided to had pasta for lunch. Few days ago, I watched Australia Masterchef on Lifetime Channel, and they made something with apples and parsleys. And this silly girl over here suddenly got an idea to make pasta sauces using apples and parsleys. And its work, my friends. This was super random, but if you want to know the recipe, I'm gladly will share it with you guys.

Ingredients for Sauce:
Onions, Garlics, Blackpepper, Salt, Sugar, Olive Oil, Apples, Parsleys, Anchovies, Beef Broth, and Milk.

One Fine Day - Penne alle Acciughe (Penne with Anchovies Sauce)


I basically always add anchovies in everything, like every food that i eat must have anchovies in it. I don't know why I'm kind of crazy over anchovies nowdays. Weird right? So I had an idea last month to make anchovies sauce for my beloved pasta, and here we go Penne alle Acciughe. Acciughe is an italian word for anchovies. The recipe are so easy, and as you know, I made up this recipe, so there'll be no exact amount of this and that. Just follow your heart. Hahaha

What you will need:
Pasta (Any type of pasta. This time i choose penne pasta)
Onions
Garlics
Olive Oil
Brown Sugar
Anchovies
Sterilized Unsweetened Milk

Basically put the onions, garlic, olive oil, and anchovies on food processor. After that pour it in the pan sauce and add the brown sugar and milk, and you just need to cook it until it well cooked. And voila, your anchovies sauces are ready! Bon Appétito!

The One Fine Day


One fine day, it's always a fine day whenever I decided to make some yummy stuff. To be honest, beside mom, the only person who use kitchen the most is, don't be surprise, its my brother, not me. But don't get me wrong, I do love cooking and baking, but you know I've got some things that always make me busy. Well, not always busy though, we can blame my lazy-ness more here. For the record, I really love my One-Fine-Day's posts. I don't know, I just really love it. And I believe you'll see more this kind of post in the future, since my mood for beauty review is not comeback yet. I don't know where it is now. XOXO

One Fine Day - Italian Kind of Day: Pasta & Tiramisu


Okay. Obviously I'm not an Italian, and I'm not in Italy. But, I freaking love Italian cuisines. I'm kinda obsessed when it come to Italian food, as you may know, i love pasta. Love overload with pasta.

So last month, we (as in me, mom, dad, and bro) kind of had an italian day at home. As you already know, my family love tiramisu so much. And I believe the only cake dessert that I actually eat must be only tiramisu. I don't know why, tiramisu just suit me well. Haha, and guess what? This was my third or fourth time baking tiramisu. And it always the bomb!

And as for the pasta, I'll definitely share the recipe with you guys on my next post. Trust me, it super easy to make and yes, it was super yumm too!

One Fine Day - Recettes de Gâteau au Yaourt et Chocolat ( Chocolate Yogurt Cake) with Green Tea Icing Sugar

I can't believe it myself that I haven't post anything in March. I'm such a bad blogger here, and I'm sorry that I keep posting about food. The main reason why I haven't post any new beauty product's review here is because I don't have time for that yet. Forgive me!!



Ingredients:
1 cup of almond meals 
(Or if you have some allergy with almond you can change it with plain flour. But its yummier when you make it with almond meals)
1/4 cup of dutch cocoa
2 tsp of baking powder
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup of caster sugar
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
2 cup of plain yogurt
3 eggs

And there's no step by step to make this. Basically you only need to mix the almond meals, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and caster sugar together first, then you add vegetable oil, just stir it with some spatula. We don't need any mixer here YAY!. After that pour the yogurt, and stir it again until it well combine, and the last step is add the eggs, and stir it slowly until it well combine again. And ready to be bake, but first preheat your oven on 300F. Bake it for like 25-30 minutes, or until it well baked.
