Final Goodbye

I think I will say a proper goodbye here.

As in 2017, I decided to not pursuing this hobby anymore, as you all have known that I changed my url, since I just decided that perhaps, maybe, I won't make a new post in this blog anymore from now on.

Or perhaps, when I changed my mind, I would post here and there, but from now on, I don't think I would continue blogging again, as much as I wanted to delete this blog, but I know there's still some people out there who still read this blog, whether about review of beauty products or recipes.

Thank you for the past 5 years.

I met a lot of genuine people in this industry that I can called friends. I feel like I spent my early 20s with doing what I passionate about which are makeup and skincare, or beauty in general. As time flies by, and now I'm in my mid 20s, and no my passion in beauty is still here, but sometimes we just need to keep our priorities straight.

I will cherish every moments from being a "beauty blogger". I love you guys. Thank you so much for everything!

Tea and Its Benefits in Skincarewise: Cheaper Alternative of Scrub & Mask

Hello everyone! It's almost at the end of 2016. So many things happened, but the important thing is few nights back, I came across to an idea to make a post about tea as a skincare routine that I always do, just because I don't want to keep this amazing cheap alternative skincare routine by myself, I also want people to experiences the benefit of this.

Out of the topic though, I usually don't do coffee, but if I really need a caffeine booster, I always choose tea as an alternative, since its not as high as what coffee has. I've tried so many different kind of tea, but I always like my tea to be original and strong. I usually don't drink my tea with milk or sweetener, even if I use sugar, I'd probably use it just a tiny bit, since as you may know I'm not a fan of sweet things. But, I discovered a whole new world when I first drink this particular tea at a particular coffee shop in the town one day, and I'm hooked up with this particular tea ever since. I searched high and low (not really lol), and found out the brand of the tea that the coffee shop used, and I was not expecting it at all that I could easily found this brand randomly while I was doing a grocery shopping. And me being me, being "frugal" (lol), of course I immediately bought it. Since guys, the whole box only cost me like one cup of tea of this brand at that coffee shop. Now I can make my tea whenever I want. If you came across with this brand which called Teh 753 Kereta Api PT. Ensa, make sure to buy it guys. And no, I'm not paid to promote and make such a comment about this brand. Lol. I wish I was.

And I did not know that this tea is so finely ground, unlike the other tea I ever tried. So after my first time making a tea with this brand for myself, I wonder what should I do with the waste itself, so me being me, I mean per usual innering my quaint trait. I was thinking to make use of the waste as a scrub, since its not as that harsh as sugar, so we could also use it to scrub the dead skins on our face.

So what I was doing is I applied all of the tea waste all over my face and body, and leave it for like 10 to 20 minutes, the longer the better, and of course me being me (again), being lazy, I usually only wait it for like 5 minutes. When it starts drying, it time to scrub your face and body gently and rinse it with warm water. And guys trust me, I'm not even make things up, your skin suddenly will become so smooth and hydrated.

I mean if you could get the same effect with a cheaper product, why bothered yourself with an expensive one? And one more thing, since it only consist of tea, so I don't think it will do any harm to your skin since its au naturel unless if you do have an allergy with tea.

And of course I did a little bit research about tea, or black tea in particular. Which said that black tea could help in reducing mimic wrinkles, and preventing pre-mature ageing and pimples, also it could prevent you from skin cancer. So it definitely a win-win for our skin and tummy. Definitely for more benefits of tea by its expert, you could read it here!

So until next time again guys, xx.

One Fine Day - Banana Orange Chocolate Cake

New year, new header! I made a new header and want to re-branding my blog again, which mean I need to start writing more post here. So to start off with the new header hype, I will share with you a recipe of not really my favorite, but I made this out of boredom few months back. Basically it has the same base like my dairy and egg free cake, which is the bomb dignity, but the difference is this cake has some sort of fruit like banana and oranges. And also I used cocoa powder in this too, because again, chocolate always make everything taste better right?

And please excuse me, because I can't really remember the exact amount of the ingredients that I used here, since as you may already know, I don't follow the recipes when I cook and bake.

  • 500 grams all purposed flour (again, you could change the flour with almond meals if you want it to be gluten free)
  • 300 grams of caster sugar (I don't really fancy sweet, so I tend to make everything not too sweet)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup of canola oil (or any cooking oil)
  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 2 cups of ripped banana (mashed)
  • 1 cup of oranges
  • 2 tbsp of orange's zest

So I just throw everything into a big mixing bowl and mix all the ingredients and then pour it into the mould and bake it for like 45 minutes or so with 200 degree celcius.

I promise I will come with better contents and ideas in my next post! Happy valentine's day guys!
